This was a special project of creating an embroidered maniple, a burse and a chalice veil to match a semi-Gothic chasuble and a stole and complete the set.
The maniple, burse and chalice veil are made from purple cotton velvet and lined with dark blue cotton sateen. The purple-and-yellow cotton fringe and braid were carefully chosen to match the original fringe and braid on the stole and the chasuble. In addition, the new pieces have 4 hand embroidered crosses that match the original crosses on the stole.
